Important Information
Pricing: $2400 cad. per person
Deposit: To confirm your spot, send an e-transfer of $750 cad. as a booking deposit to nicoleguzzodesigns@gmail.com
Payment Plan: We will have two payments plans and final payment is due November 1, 2024. (1) Pay in full (2) Make 3 payments of $750, $825, $825
We require a minimum of six bookings in order for this trip to happen. If we do not receive four bookings, this trip will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded. Before booking any non-refundable flights, please contact us to ensure the trip is happening. We are not responsible for flight refunds
What is included in the price: Accommodations during the trip and one day before in Delhi (mid range, guesthouses, all private rooms unless requested to stay with friend/partner), all transportation once inside India, all activities, breakfast everyday, welcome group dinner, WhatsApp daily supportive chat
What is not included in the price: International flight to India, trip insurance, India E-VISA ($60-$80), lunch and dinner, any additional activities you choose to do. Meals range from $1-$6 each, depending on cafe or street food. Water ($0.40), Tea ($0.20), 1 curry dish ($4), 1 rice dish ($4), smoothie ($3), fruit bowl ($3), Falafel plate (very popular, $5)
Booking: This trip is limited to 4-10 spots to keep the intimacy of the group and everyones experiences. Booking closes November 1, 2024
Tourist VISA: Everyone travelling to India must obtain a e-Tourist VISA. The form takes about 15 minutes to fill out, 72 hours to be confirmed. Steps are as followed: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html . We will walk you through any confusion and go step by step
Flight: International flights to and from India is not included in the trip price. From YVR - Delhi, round trip flights can be found for $1500 - $1800. There are many discounted flights when you choose a 15 hour layover in Hong Kong or Tokyo for example. We will be sending lists of flight deals in a group email
Vaccines: COVID-19 and other vaccines are not required to enter India
Cancellation Policy
Cancelled trips
If the trip is cancelled due to COVID / India travel restrictions, we will aim to notify you as soon as possible.
Privacy policy
Any personal information that we collect about you will be handled with care. It may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of a trip: making a booking, taxi service, hotel etc.
Deposit requirement
You are required to pay a deposit for your booking to be confirmed. We require a booking deposit of $750 cad. Read below in the "cancellation by you" for refundable options.
Acceptance of booking and final payments
Once deposit is sent, we will issue you a booking confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between you and us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice and when we accept your payment. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments. We accept e-transfers only. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
Your details
For us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details with the balance of the trip price. Necessary details vary by trip; they include but are not limited to full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date. Please share any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements.
Cancellation by you
If you cancel your booking the cancellation terms set out below will apply:

June 1 - July 1: we will hold $250 of your deposit and return the remainder

July 2 - August 31: we will hold $500 of your deposit and return any remainder

September 1 - October 31: we charge a cancellation fee of 60% of the total cost

November 1 - December 28: unless extreme situation occurs (read below for an outline), we cannot offer a refund for the trip as of November 1 as this is the last day to book a spot. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a trip, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
Cancellation by us
In the event that we cancel your trip due to travel regulations in India, you will receive a full refund minus $100 cad administration cost.
If your trip is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event:
A “Force Majeure Event” includes but is not limited to: acts of God; war; civil commotion; riot; blockade or embargo; fire; explosion; breakdown; union dispute; earthquake; epidemic, pandemic or other health emergency; flood; windstorm or other extreme weather event; lack or failure of courses of supply; passage of any law, order, proclamation, regulation, ordinance, demand, requisition or requirement or any other act of any government authority, beyond the reasonable control of the parties, whether or not foreseeable, which would make it dangerous or not viable for a trip to commence or continue.
In the event that we cancel your trip due a Force Majeure Event, you will receive a full refund minus $100 cad administration cost.
In the event of any cancellation, there will be no claim for damages by either party against the other and we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights
